Why should I use a REALTOR®?

A REALTOR® has extensive information all in one place about what is on the market, including homes listed by other REALTORS®.

A REALTOR® helps you determine how much home you can afford, how you can acquire the down payment, and what financing options may be open to you.

A REALTOR® can help you find the home best suited to your needs.

A REALTOR® can suggest simple changes that could make a prospective home more suitable for you and improve its utility and value.

A REALTOR® can supply information on real estate values, taxes, utility costs, municipal services and facilities.

A REALTOR® can act as a conduit through which you and the seller present offers and counter-offers until an agreement is reached.

A REALTOR® can familiarize you with the closing procedures by explaining them all in advance.

How do I choose a REALTOR®?

Look for an agent who:

  • Is a member of the local board or association of REALTORS®.
Bob is a member of the Temple-Belton Board of REALTORS®.
  • Advises you on area conditions that could affect property values.
  • Shows enthusiasm, listens attentively, instills confidence and operates in a professional manner.

The following are important questions to ask a potential agent:

  • Are you a REALTOR®?
Bob is a licensed real estate agent and a REALTOR®.
  • Do you have an active real estate license in good standing? To find this information, you can check with your state’s governing agency.
  • Do you cooperate with sellers' brokers?
Bob is proud to work with area real estate professionals in an ethical manner, while helping you get the best possible price.
  • Is real estate your full-time career?
Bob is a full-time REALTOR® and spends time both in his office coordinating sales, marketing and working with buyers as well as in the field, showing homes and meeting with clients.

  • What real estate designations do you hold?
Bob is an Accredited Buyers Representative® and proudly holds the ABR® designation. He also has earned the designation of Property Marketing Expert (PME), and he is a graduate of the REALTORS® Institute, which awards him the G.R.I. designation.
